Sour Cream And Chives Potato



A slow-baked potato in an oven, not zapped in a microwave. need we say more?

  1. Recipe? Scrub a good Idaho potato, poke some holes in it with a fork, and cook it at 425 degrees for 45 minutes. Whether to first oil it is debatable. Foil will produce a steamed potato, and precludes a dry crackly skin.

    Then cut the potato open, spoon some sour cream inside, and sprinkle on some freshly snipped chives (not the dried ones in the jar - ick!).
